As a widower myself, I hope this gentleman spent the entire night holding his wife.
I hope he thanks God for not being ready for his wife and letting them have more time together. I hope he holds her as tight as he can every day from here forth.
Thats a good idea for all of us... hold on to someone you love and never take a single second for granted. God can come calling at any second.

We never know, for sure. Car, heart attack, some freak accident or event. Life ends suddenly and without (much) warning for many people.

Ditto to that. I lost my wife of 55 years to leukemia on My 30, 2013. I'm still bitter.
