Yup. I don’t know where Detroit stands as far as murders go, but I’m sure murder capitols, Baltimore and Chicago have no similar RKBA laws.
The crime rates had fallen considerably and the chief was putting out weekly reports that compared rates with the past year, month, and week but for some reason the city made him stop. The trends were definitely heading the right way with things like carjacking down something like 30% from the 2014 and murder down like 20%.
Its a large urban center so there will always be crime and there are some rough areas but the downtown and midtown areas are really looking up.
You would be right about Baltimore, but wrong about Chicago.
