I was in college when the Datsun Z cars came out.
I was walking through a blizzard one day to get to my Oldsmobile that had a dent on every panel. I was on my way from my last class of the day to go to my full-time night job. I was frozen and hungry and tired.
Just then, a Datsun 260Z came down the road. I looked at it and screamed,
“Someday! Someday I will have one of those!”
And now, almost 40 years later......I have an old pickup.
It would have been a better story if I had found a Z and restored it and been featured on some car show or something. if you’re disappointed, think how I feel.
Old pickups are cool..............
