If it’s not simply a con job, sounds like Munchausen’s syndrome

An elevated need for attention and sympathy, certainly. But if her only induced “symptom” was a shaved head, I suspect most shrinks won’t go as far as Münchhausen. So she’ll go through the system as simply a fraud and a thief.
Curious to know if she had a troubled childhood. Perhaps “attention-getting” behaviors (like Performance and Winning) were nurtured, rewarded, and reinforced early on. To a child, it might seem like getting Attention was the only thing that made her worthy.

I'm struggling with anger and resentment against her. Munchausen's or not, she needs to be horsewhipped.
I have good coverage, which is good because I've probably had about a million dollars worth of care this last year. But you know she's hurting chances to get help and support for those who do not have good coverage. Cancer is so incredibly difficult already, but not to have help because of damned idiots/criminals like her? Damn her!!!!
