The major source of income to the Social Security Trust Funds is

Employers are not required to distinguish Federal income taxes from Social Security taxes when they deposit taxes with Federal Reserve banks. Thus,

Treasury multiplies each day's actual tax receipts by each ratio [FICA and SECA], yielding the estimated [for both parts]. here

Social Security and Medicare taxes are listed separately on your paycheck,
however when your employer pays his payroll taxes, he makes one payment.

Total income tax for 2014 minus the amounts handed off to totals for Social Insurance and Retirement leaves

$691,401,069,009.36 left to fund Obama family perquisites, parties, and vacations for the year in 2014. Defense and other discretionary items are funded by borrowing. I think that's how it works. :)
