Is this the same Dowd that defended McCain during Keating 5?

Is this the same NFL that threatened to boycott Arizona if it didn’t approve of same sex marriage, whatever that has to do with football?

Brady failed to fully cooperate. He’s paying the price. Now quite whining and take it like a girl.

Please explain how he failed to cooperate. What specifically do you refer to?

Yes...much, I hope, along the same lines as Bruins goalie Tim Thomas.

Is there anything wrong with having quality representation?

If not, why would this man be denied an opinion on a legal matter?

That is the same NFL.

As much as I like the sport, the political correctness that has invaded the rest or our society, from the very pulpits of churches that should most vigorously oppose homosexuality, to the schools that refuse to teach history because it is regarded as offensive to some.

I watched a video last night of the Washington Redskins locker room in 1972 after a victory, and the entire team was on a knee in prayer. How far we are from that.

You’ve obviously never seen his wife and mother of one of his children, nor the former girlfriend who’s the mother of his other child. He may be any number of things, good and bad, but one thing I’m pretty damned sure he’s not is gay.

(and the proper compound word is “you’re” not ‘your’)

Doesn’t matter what I think. That’s at the sole discretion of the Commissioner of the league. Brady agreed to it when he signed his contract. If he doesn’t like it he can go sell shoes.

When they signed the CBA, it did not mean they give up their rights for the union to sue for unfair treatment on their behalf, which is exactly what is going to happen. But you wouldn't know that, because you have absolutely no idea what the NFLPA is allowed to do as a union under the guidelines of the CBA, as your comment patently reveals. Just another low-information commenter who is emotion based, that emotion being mostly hate, with some envy and jealousy thrown it.

You don't know a thing about what is going on, and that is fine. That is the way you roll, apparently. I prefer to understand an issue (or at least try to) before I comment on it.

Dude, I don’t give a crap about football. Haven’t in years. It’s played by a bunch of two bit thugs and prima donnas. You’re so emotionally invested in it that it’s pathetic.

Brady cheated. Fat Bill cheated. They got caught. No pull on your big girl panties and take the medicine.

Sue on. By the time it sees the inside of a courtroom the season will be over anyway.

L

I asked for the posts to be pulled, and I suggest we call a truce. Right or wrong on the facts, I was wrong to goad you on.

You have been around a while, and I have read your postings, so I like to give folks like you some leeway when it is called for because most of you folks deserve it.

Sorry about the acrimonious tone, Lurker.
