I recently went on a job interview and was asked the following question, which I assumed was something out of Common Core. I have seen the question before, just don’t remember where or if the response I gave was even original, since it seemed like a logical answer.

“If you found a Giraffe in your back yard, how would you make it leave?” So I responded, “Alive or Dead?” She just stared at me and at this point I knew not only wasn’t I getting this job, but chances were she was going to call the police. “Why would you ask that question?”

And this was my response. “Because I need to know if I have to go buy a chainsaw.”

Interview over and not even a hand shake. Some people are just rude.

Questions like that are apparently becoming more common in interviews. Found an interesting article http://www.bbc.com/news/business-22844117 relating to it and the suggested "answers" to such questions.
