I know of doctors who are retiring early or limiting their practices because of all the paperwork, rules and new regulations.

I lost one family doctor to the extra paperwork associated with HIPAA, the latest retired early rather than deal with Obamacare. At my age, I should have a longstanding relationship with a family physician. Nope.

I did not expand a small business because of Obamacare; other Federal policies have created market situations which have, for all practical purposes shut me down.

I fully expected that, and hopefully am prepared to weather that storm, but with only a few years until retirement, I would rather have spent them working for the sort of compensation I was making.

Thanks for your post. You are one example of thousands across the nation where Obamacare has produced carnage in one form or another. Rules, regulations, taxes and not to mention the money, time and worry involved with with all of it. A national burden for all of us along with a gradual lessening of the quality of care.

Hopefully, Obamacare will be repealed - and soon. I'm not looking forward to the death panel.
