Defending national champion Ohio State is ranked No. 1 in the college football Amway Preseason Coaches Poll released Thursday.

The Buckeyes received 62 of 64 first-place votes in the poll and will begin their title defense on Sept. 7 at Virginia Tech.

So excited about this season..TCU is ranked second and has a Heisman favorite at QB..never dreamed when TCU was always in Penthouse bottom 10 teams in the early 80’s that this day would come..(yes I READ Penthouse articles in college!!!!) the only thing that could ruin this pre-season build up is if Obama picks TCU to win it all..

Has Ole Miss recovered from its 42-3 beatdown at the hands of TCU at the Peach Bowl? I actually felt sorry for Bo Wallace, but speed kills every time.

Btw- it’s not speed in the case of TCU rather phenomenal coaching. Dawson ran 4.9 at the combine, hackett was in the 4.8s and I believe white was also slow.
