I don’t do the ratings. I just know that Cruz is rated 100%.

Have you ever seen an election this intriguing? I know I havent.
1980 was interesting. You had Reagan, George the Elder, John B. Anderson, Phil Crane, Howard "the chipmunk" Baker, Bob Dole, John Connolly and probably someone I'm forgetting. Everyone except for Crane ran to the left of Reagan. The farther left Anderson racked up a bunch of second and third place finishes, complaining that Reagan was not electable. He ran third party, helping Reagan increase his margin of victory. There were also the silly "scandals", like Reagan telling an ethnic joke in New Hampshire ("How do you know the Polish fellow at a cock fight?" and of course "I paid for this microphone!")
1976 was also intersting on the Dem side, as Jerry Browna nd Frank Church jumped in late, and won some primaries against Carter. Carter and Caddell figured out how the new delegate selection system, would play out, and they didn't. I am convinced that Frank Church could have beaten Carter in Iowa and that Jerry Brown could have taken New Hampshire.
On the Republican side, it looked like a rout for Ford after Florida, but Reagan surged back after NC and especially Texas, eventually getting more votes (but not more delegates).
For those who maintain it is wimpy for Walker to explicitly not compete in Florida, do note that Reagan chose not to compete in NY or Pennsylvania in 1976. He wasn't even able to get on the ballot. In a world of limited resources, sometimes tough choices have to be made. (He did make a move in Ford's home turf, Michigan, forcing Ford to counter.)

I’m on my fourth Trump book. I greatly admire what he has accomplished. I agree he needs to be leading, but I also think he needs Cruz to set the Policy agenda on a firm Conservative foundation. Together they would be an outstanding force for good.

"Thanks for the information" You're welcome. Things are often not as they seem in Washington D.C. Entirely too much double talk. Cruz is one of the good guys, but he too has a few warts.

Donald Trump a bad precedent? As opposed to electing a possibly illegal alien from Indonesia, of dubious character, ill educated who was known to use drugs (and may still be doing so) about whom we really know nothing, not even his real name? Donald Trump loves THIS country and we know everything there is to know about him. I love the idea of a President Cruz too, but I am not sure that our brash loudmouth Donald Trump, with all of his outspokenness and his outsize ego, is not the very one who God has raised up to overcome these evil and very strange times to put us back on the right path. I could be wrong of course, but I suspect that Donald Trump is indeed the right man to blast through the fog and confusion of this peculiar and evil day so that in due time men like Ted Cruz can step in.

Yeah, and if they showed your guy in the lead, you’d be singing their praises...right?
How does it feel to have the same end game as the Liberal media and the GOPe in your desire to see Trump fail?
Finding any all Trump threads to drop your little stink bombs must be keeping you busy.

Actually, I’ve been in the polling business off and on since the 80s, and written about them for many years....and I’ve always said this.
Rush has quoted my work on polls.......
Get over your Trump fan boi love crush....I’m talking about the ideas that polls are what they are, which is almost irrelevant at this stage of a Presidential debate. You’ve bitten off WAAAAAY more than you can chew with me on this particular topic.

I like Trump, but I think Trump needs Cruz to guide him through a Conservative agenda and to provide a brilliant Constitutional legal mind in shaping policy.I agree. I am strongly hoping for a Trump/Cruz ticket.

I think it is probably sound strategy to skip Florida, it being winner take all with 2 candidates being from that state. It is pretty hilarious that Trump hasn’t been to the state and is leading outside the margin of error.
There are a lot of northeastern retirees down in South Florida and Trump will do exceptionally well there.

“I love Cruz, but if he cannot get above 4-6 percent soon, I don’t think he will be the nominee.”
Do you trust the poll results?
