Tea Party racist? I guess I should tell the Hispanic and black patriots in our group that. They would laugh. Hell we want ALL patriotic members of ANY race in our group and I see that in numerous other groups too. Racial division politics needs to be seen for what it is. They are the true intolerant racists.

“Whenever I praise a conservative, Ned emails to correct me, claiming the conservative is a deceitful traitor.”

People who call themselves “conservative” too often have not fully thought through what they are attempting to conserve. I would beg conservatives to do so in light of the Declaration of Independence. That in order to enjoy the blessings of liberty, we must have government, but that government by its very nature, at least in this life, destroys liberty.

I would advocate this: that we must focus on maximizing liberty and not maximizing government.

I say this because too often conservatives love big government power and the love a decently powerful military, almost no matter how much of a budget deficit we have to run in order to pay for it.

What they don’t stop to realize is that when we borrow in order to spend, we are incrementally destroying liberty forever for our unaborted children. We may enjoy when we can invade a country and relieve tyranny overseas, yet we are slowly and surely imposing debt slavery on every taxpayer, that is every “US Person” (those who are required by law to report and pay taxes to the US Treasury.

This is made possible by government’s self-granted power to create near-infinite amounts of money and debt. Today, over 40% of what the federal government spends is created out of thin air! This is not “sustainable”!

But worse, when government has the power to create near-infinite amounts of money, it can buy near-infinite amounts of bureaucracy and dependent voter blocks. A well-funded bureaucracy can think of a near-infinite ways to grasp for power and to hire auditors, form-shufflers and enforcers.

This is exactly how the current administration is able to afford to build a massive database of racial information with which they plan to find every little pocket of housing discrimination in the country, that is at least how they define it. Then every area that is more than 50% “white” will come under the microscope. Those communities that have above average incomes, above average number of in-tact two-parent households, and below-average rates of crime will get their own solar-powered, broadband enabled, multigenerational Ferguson-like Section 8 subsidized housing enclaves.

This is how the EPA can propose to put the gutter down your driveway under federal control because it now falls under the Clean Water Act as a “federal navigable waterway.”. And so on.

With near-infinite government, there will be no end of the ways that it destroys liberty, until there is none.

Up until the modern welfare state and near-infinite debt, the first limit on government was the amount of money that taxpayers were willing to be taken from them. But no more- the difference is made up by pressing the mouse: “create one trillion now?” “Yes/No” “Are you sure?”

When an Article V convention of the states is called, the first order of business must be to conserve liberty by restraining government’s ability to spend money that it does not have, money it creates out of thin air.

Then we must focus on maximizing liberty for all future generations (at least, those we don’t abort)
