Somebody besides me still has XP? And even that on a limited basis. I did a reformat and reinstall on two computers with XP, only now when I open a webpage heavy in graphics, like fleabay or amazon, it loads so slowly as to be locked.

Software can easily overload ANY hardware. S/W needs to be smacked down into its proper place. M$ s/w has really never known its place.

We still have XP running on a computer that is not connected to the Internet. It contains business related software on it that we bought in 1995 which works just fine for our purposes. This non-internet connected computer also contains all the financial records for our business as well as our clients. Run Windows 7 on the computers that are connected to the internet but have no software or information saved which has any value on them. Works just fine for us. The day I’m forced to go to Windows 10 is the day the doors close and I’m retiring.
