Leaf Peepin = Looking at Pretty Autumn Leaves on Trees
That, I've heard of...right out of my kitchen window.
Don't be tempting the weather, Summer just got started.
You can’t beat the Shennandoah mountains, E. To central VA, West-Virginia (the state) for beautiful mid to late fall foliage. It’s temperate weather by the time they change (mid September) so it’s not a trip in the midst of heat. Look up Shennandoah National Park. http://www.nps.gov/shen/index.htm
You will only be 75 miles from DC. Don’t let that stop you though.
