And that's exactly what I'm trying to avoid. According to their website, they will "offer" to put me into their "Cloud" programming , which I want to avoid completely. I don't like software that is predicated on cloud computing. That's one of the big reasons I why I don't use Office 2013.

Granted, yes I know, the Internet is done in the cloud but that's by design. It has to be that way to operate. But I do not use Realplayer and Office 2013 because of the requirement of operating out of the cloud, and now possibly Acrobat could be get the axe as well. I've seen other PDF creation programs out there and it's possible I may have to convert to one of those.

I feel the exact same way about it. I hope you can get this resolved with Adobe.

[[That’s one of the big reasons I why I don’t use Office 2013. ]]

And that’s why I stopped updating their Creative Suit product at CS5 (could have gone to CS6 but didn’t)- their ‘cloud based product’ is now a giant money sucking monthy subscription service, and even worse is if you quit paying, you lose all the photos you’ve worked on during the subscription because of proprietary coding or something from what I’ve heard-

Nope- no thanks
