I haven’t called them yet. I was wanting to pick a few brains here on FR before doing so. I’d like to try and find the “off switch” so that the message goes away and I won’t have to call them.

Did you ever register the product? Adobe is very big on registering. If it phoned home and didn’t find a registration, it might explain the popup. It is then a very simple matter to get it running. Not sure why you don’t want to register since you will get support and free upgrades.

Seems strange that you spent $900 (or whatever it now costs) to get Acrobat and you would rather not use it as opposed to registering. Are you sure you actually bought a licensed copy?
