The U.S. National Archives released new images of Bush administration staff reacting to the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks.

Sept. 11, 2001: As seen from Beneath the White House On the day of the 2001 terrorist attacks, senior Bush administration personnel — and Vice President Dick Cheney's staff photographer — gathered in the President's Emergency Operations Center beneath the White House.

The personnel included President George W. Bush, Vice President Dick Cheney, National Security Adviser Condoleezza Rice, Secretary of State Colin Powell and CIA Director George Tenet.

Following a Freedom of Information Act request, the National Archives released a gallery of hundreds of new photos from those first hours after the 9/11 attacks.

The full album is available on the U.S. National Archives Flickr account.

I know he doesn't want it, he now has a good ticker, but Cheney this time around IMHO is also a man for the job, aka POTUS...

I miss the day when adult men and women were in charge. . .not ‘community organizers.’
