“Sounds like it was written by a 14 year old.”

It’s Twitter. All twitter stuff sounds like that, so twits can understand it, I guess.

Meanwhile, CNN was covering Trump’s Iowa speech live, until he said Hillary was criminal and that she isn’t fit to run.

They IMMEDIATELY cut away, and began attacking him again...

At some point Trump and Cruz will exchange barbs on each other and it won’t be the lovefest you Cruzers are having with Trump right now.

Walker already had a warning from one of Trump’s guys and didn’t do anything.

Cruz will not attack Trump personally, period. Dewey ran an exceptionally dirty campaign against Cruz and Ted stayed classy and did not get in the mud at all.

Perry injudiciously called Trump everything in the book.....disdaining Donald...said he was a cancer on the GOP. Yes, Donald questioned Perry's intelligence when he contradicted Donald WRT the illegal problem but Donald has certainly been vindicated. Perry was out of line, and still is.

Polls show Perry flopped to 4%. Mr Opportunist--the flailing Cruz, also collapsed after stupidly trying
to latch onto the soaring Trump aura. (Perry and Cruz disintegrated to 2% in some polls).

It appears that the candidates firing at Trump are trying to win the favor of the GOPe. No candidate intent on getting the conservative vote would get in a pissing contest with Trump because there is no need to. Trump will either rise or fall on his own accord with the voters. When Walker, Perry, Rubio, and others go after Trump they lose people who now support Trump who might later look to offer support to other candidates. For instance, Perry gave a great speech to open his campaign, but now he sounds like an imbecile arguing with Trump. I am scratching Perry off my list, which is now down to Fiorina, Cruz, Carson, Kasich, and maybe Paul.

The stupid republicans are as clueless with Trump as they are with the democrats at election time.

That's what I'm thinking. When he was accused of privately saying he isn't a "nativist", he didn't defend himself. If it's a lie, he should've been outraged. If it's true, he's not our guy.

FWIW, I'm leery of choosing a Governor. They can say anything, because there's no DC record to back up how they'd actually vote or if they'd follow someone else's agenda.

Maybe he won’t but you can bet Trump wouldn’t hold back. I think you Cruz supporters are thinking your man will be immune against Trump’s attacks. It’s only a matter of time before it happens and what will be interesting is how Ted and his supporters here react to it. This is the contest for the presidency and not a US Senate race. It’ll be bareknuckle politics period and Trump will slaughter everyone if that’s what it takes to win.

Unless, of course, Donald would like Cruz as a running mate.

I don’t think that will happen.

I think that Cruz is running for the position of trumps VP, and I think Trump is mulling it over.

The big picture to me is keeping Hillary and other Democrats out of the White House. Cruz is not my first choice for the GOP nomination nor is Trump, but if they somehow end up on the ticket together I won’t hesitate to vote for them.

If the race came down to Cruz vs. Trump. Their criticisms to each other would be muted, and both would likely mostly run their campaigns saving their fire going after Hillary or Bernie or any another Dem Bozo. They’d run their campaigns running on their main planks, and what they could do for America promoting themselves, and at this point it would be a win win.

As far as I’m concerned that would be a dream ticket, Trump and Cruz, however I don’t think that it is going to happen. But it sure is fun the dream, don’t you know that the Ragheads in the ME wouldn’t be going nuts. Reminds me of when President Reagan was sworn in to office, our 144 hostages were on a plane out of Iran.
