When folks with darker skin whose ancestors hailed from Africa or the Americas honor the historic achievements of their kith and kin (or even make up achievements to attribute to them, like the false attribution of the Phoenician invention of philosophy -- yes they beat the Greeks to it -- to "Africans"), it's called "racial solidarity" or "ethnic pride" and is "to be celebrated".
Actually, they’re called Southrons or Swertings in Middle Earth.

In other words, people who enjoy history are a bulwark against the “white guilt” trashola that is crapping all over the culture nowadays.
I’ve noticed that kids fall for this garbage because they don’t understand history. Once you start to really see the way history works, the white supremacy garbage gets run over. Someone is always on the top, someone is always on the bottom. That is what history is. A struggle to be the one on top. Eventually the hourglass turns, and things mix up. The argument is, WHY did it turn. It’s very clear when you just look at the facts, but the left doesn’t want you doing that, so it tries to keep you from noting why by calling you a “bigot” if you even touch certain subjects. It’s all part of the Fahrenheit 451 self-censorship that the left is trying to inculcate in today’s young people.
I have noticed young leftists are remarkably uneducated in anything that challenges their worldview. I’ve taken a walk over in the DU swamp quite a few times - when someone posts something that might be uncomfortable, unlike FR, where people jump in, and do a good job explaining how facts can be skewed, in DU the threads are simply ignored - they drop dead - if they are uncomfortable. No entries - or name calling (They do love to name call) - or they are pulled.
Actually, there are blacks in Middle Earth, they were called the “Far-Haradrim”, they just don’t live anywhere near where all the action of the story takes place.

Only a portion of them were black though. Most of the Southrons were closer to Middle Eastern types.

As a dwarf death knight on World of Warcraft, I take exception to this report. She doesn’t say anything about the little fellows. We can’t see over anything and get trapped in every impediment out there. Heck, I can’t even climb a simple hill.
That’s the real travesty.
If you can't write and have no scholastic ability you just make your Masters thesis about something being racist and you guaranteed to get a "B" no matter how bad it is.

The British show “Connections” had an excellent piece on why China never developed an industrial revolution or scientific revolution, but the West did.
The Chinese imagined an ethereal “chi” or miasma, and you couldn’t study one set of items separate from the unknowable interconnected forces. In short, you can’t deduce laws of motion and physics because you cannot possibly analyze the whole universe’s components. So they did well with direct observations of the heavens, but didn’t bother to develop mathematical equations for it because they believed you couldn’t.
Islam suffers from its own stifling view that Allah is unknowable and can do anything on a whim. Scientific observation is somewhat tolerable, like noting what medicines do what.
However, you cannot develop a scientific method and experimental methods without:
* a prior belief that there are ordered laws of the universe
* people are able to determine these laws of the universe
* it isn’t a fatal act of blasphemy to try
For the Chinese, they lacked the first two beliefs. Islam suffers from the second. Africa had none of the above, even when Egypt was a major power in ancient days, though the Greeks were working somewhat toward the first 2.
Only in the Renaissance and Enlightenment in Europe did any large group not only do all three, but had networks of interconnected universities so that information spread beyond a few esoteric scientists to large groups.
H, LET’S SEE. 99% of all that has been invented to make every one’s life more comfortable was invented by White people, mostly white males. Just how are these people going to change the history of the world, especially the history of the USA? “WHITE PRIVILEGE”, you say? Just check it out. Name any inventor that has relieved and enhanced the lives of every body in the world, and you will see that 99% of all inventions were invented by these “WHITE PRIVILEGED” people. Most of the countries of the world is a hell of a lot older than this country, yet it took the creation of this country, the USA, to give us all these inventions. The sad part of all this story is that this “WHITE PRIVILEGE” nonsense was created by very stupid “WHITE PEOPLE”.
I don’t care a whit about those games, but that’s some funny chit right there.
