I’m not advocating for this particular article.. just interested to see what people would say about it.
Even if Collins’ view is without merit, the fact remains that God expected the United States to learn from what he gave us as an example when he brought the Assyrians and the Babylonians against the northern and southern kingdoms. He didn’t spare them a world of hurt, even though they were his treasured, chosen people. He won’t spare the United States either.
