Police are searching for a cobra that is believed to have bitten an 18-year-old man who died Tuesday evening. Police believe Grant Thompson, 18, owned a monocled cobra and that it bit him in his car while at the parking lot of a Lowes at 13000 North Interstate 35. Thompson died after going into cardiac arrest, medics have said. Police said it is possible that the snake is still in the area and are asking anyone with information about the animal to call police at 512-974-5210. Police described the cobra as black with a distinctive circle on its back and a tan underbelly.

How do they know it’s not still in the car? Did they try to smoke it out or some other technique?

Looking at the local comments, one young lady says this 18 y/o victim was active in the community and knew a lot about snakes, but he was also known as suffering with depression from time to time. She thinks it may have been a suicide.
So that makes me ask; if Cobra has bitten recently, is their second bite still just as poisonous to humans as before?
Why, just everyone takes their venomous snakes, frogs, and tarantulas on their shopping errands with them, right? Just make sure you leave the window cracked open while you’re in the store.
He was run over by a Shelby Cobra?
Will this be investigated by the Just Us Department as a Hate Crime?
Was the Cobra an Anchor Baby or an Illegal Invader?
Aw, so it is. Last night it was reported as a Home Depot. Either way, I wouldn’t set foot in there today or any day until they find it and verify it didn’t deliver a bunch of baby snakes living in the store.
They lay eggs.
