I’m sure you have a link for that stat?
I strongly oppose homosexual marriage. I’m also a conservative and a Christian. I know many, many attorneys of like mind. I rather doubt I only know the very few who oppose it. I am so committed to traditional marriage that when I was young I left a firm because they hired someone to handle divorces. I didn’t want to earn one penny or be associated in any way with the destruction of marriage. I likewise won’t accept a penny from bankruptcy, plaintiff’s cases, etc.
I see little comments here all the time about lawyers and I usually ignore them. The slams may seem cute to people, but I doubt anyone here would like what would happen if every conservative attorney got out of the profession. Yes, conservatives are in the minority, but there are many of us who seek to do what is right. Conservatives in every state continue to honor the Constitution and uphold the rule of law within a system hell-bent on its demise.
“Gay” marriage issues, divorce, support, alimony, child custody, etc. certainly can greatly increase a family lawyer’s client base. I don’t know the % of lawyers favoring
“Gay” marriage; but, without a doubt there’s more money to be made deconstructing those homo relationships.
God bless you!
I know and use some good honest Christian Conservative lawyers....
