Very few sites really need it.
Youtube is one, unfortunately.

I’ve had Adobe Flash shut off by Fire Fox for several weeks. now. It says it is a security threat. What Firefox plug-in/add on do you use for viewing Youtube?

You can configure YouTube to only use Flash as a last resort

Youtube doesn’t use Flash as default any more. It defaults to HTML5.

Youtube is one, unfortunately.

Youtube has been on a multi-year project to transcode all of their videos to non-Flash format. They have an opt-in page. It's time to freeze Flash out!
