To be fair, season 1 was is better written, IMO.
Season 2 has a lot of klunky dialog.

There is no question that season one is/was much better.
I agree that the dialog in this season is klunky but the writer is a native Louisianian so that what he wrote for season one was more ‘in tune’. He may be out-of-touch with the CA culture.
I’m going to give season two the benefit of the doubt to see what develops. It can’t be halfway through the season yet.
They never seem to run short of F bombs. I watched The Crimson Tide this evening and it had not one F bomb or gd word and I understood the story just fine, Loony lefty as it was. It was on USA channel so it could have been edited. I try to edit some of the shows to make them family friendly but some of the 1 hour shows have more cuts than I can make. Mr. Robot is just filled with vile sex scenes
