This makes my blood pressure go up.
Health care, prisons, law enforcement, courts, education, etc.
Your concerns are unfounded and irrelevant. The right of homosexuals to get married and the Confederate flag are the things we should all be concerned about. \s
A Tangent issue. What about anchor babies and the 14th amendment and that that whole concept is a misuse ( again ) of the 14th and no one will talk about it. I remember reading a column years ago ( late 80’s early 90’s) in the back of National Review and I think Ann Coulter authored it. No one on our side will “go their” either.
What is sad is that all of the “republican” candidates have the same plethora of things to run on, political correctness and fear stop them...fear of losing their doners and fear of alienating people woo would never vote for them. They deserve to lose to Trump.
Trump did address this yesterday in Phoenix. Quite well. He pointed out that it ramps up in 2016 just as Obama is leaving.
Donald Trump In 1999: I Believe In Universal Health Care Its An Entitlement From Birth
Speaking with CNN host Larry King in 1999 when he was flirting with a run for president on the Reform Party ticket, Trump said he was quite liberal when it came to health care.
I said Im conservative, generally speaking, Im conservative, and even very conservative, Trump told King in response to a question about a patients bill of rights.
But Im quite liberal and getting much more liberal on health care and other things. I really say: Whats the purpose of a country if youre not going to have defensive and health care?
Trump added believed in universal health care.
If you cant take care of your sick in the country, forget it, its all over. I mean, its no good. So Im very liberal when it comes to health care, he said. I believe in universal health care. I believe in whatever it takes to make people well and better.
Asked if he thought it was an entitlement, Trump affirmed he did indeed believe it was one from birth.
I think it is. Its an entitlement to this country, and too bad the world cant be, you know, in this country. But the fact is, its an entitlement to this country if were going to have a great country.
Speaking with The Advocate that year, Trump said hed fund his universal health care plan with an increase in corporate taxes. I would put forward a comprehensive health care program and fund it with an increase in corporate taxes, Trump said.
In his 2000 book, The America We Deserve, Trump also spoke favorably of the Canadian health care system and said he we need, as a nation, to reexamine the single-payer plan, as many individual states are doing.
On Dateline NBC that year, Trump also mentioned he was totally for choice when it came to abortion.
I hate the concept of abortion, said Trump. I hate, I hate anything about abortion, and yet, Im totally for choice. I think you have no alternative, too.
Heres the transcript of the King interview:
KING: Patients Bill of Rights: You mentioned health care as one of the social issues; you for it?
TRUMP: I think you have to have it, and, again, I said Im conservative, generally speaking, Im conservative, and even very conservative. But Im quite liberal and getting much more liberal on health care and other things. I really say: Whats the purpose of a country if youre not going to have defensive and health care?
If you cant take care of your sick in the country, forget it, its all over. I mean, its no good. So Im very liberal when it comes to health care. I believe in universal health care. I believe in whatever it takes to make people well and better.
KING: So you believe, then, its an entitlement of birth?
TRUMP: I think it is. Its an entitlement to this country, and too bad the world cant be, you know, in this country. But the fact is, its an entitlement to this country if were going to have a great country.

Righto. Just curious. What’s your solution?
Arrive at a car wreck, check papers and leave those without legal status to bleed out?
When a young woman shows up at a hospital without papers but in labor, do we leave her in the parking lot, or allow her into the waiting room and let her deliver there without medical attention? Especially since the child she is delivering is at present considered an American citizen?
I agree the situation is outrageous, I just don’t see a solution we can live with as long as these people are here.
That and the EBT cards really frosts my grits.
Trump said he would repeal Obamacare.
