What is a tony party of town?

Did they mean to type a tiny part of town?

Typo...should be “the tony part of town.”

Tony — fashionable among wealthy or stylish people.
“a tony restaurant”
synonyms: stylish, fashionable, high-class, uptown, posh; salubrious
“a tony young man in his designer duds”

Tony means trendy among the stylish or weslthy. Willow Glen is considered a “village.” I wouldn’t say it’s considered as upscale as Palo Alto or Los Altos, but I guess as part of San Jose it’s nicer.
