I’m not sure I see what the little girl has to do with it. It was a staged event.

OMG that was amazing!! Thank you. Loved the child on the light pole. This kind of thing makes my screen go all blurry, though.

Yes, it was a staged event pretending to be spontaneous. The little girl is (was) pretty wooden.
Must be a commercial for the ensemble somewhere.

I really cant stand Buzzfeed or The Blaze style clickbait, so I can assume that this kid gave a street musician a coin and he played Beethoven’s 9th.
Is that the “amazing” thing that took place?
To: Larry381
And to think that Beethoven was stone deaf when he wrote it...Germany’s got talent.

“Ode to Joy” was God-inspired. Give credit where credit is due.

For some reason that video reminded me of what ‘Old Europe’ was like before it decided to commit suicide.

Here’s how my kids learned to remember the name:
(Sing to the chorus)
Joyful joyful was Beethoven
when he wrote his number nine.
Though he could not hear the music
He knew that it was sublime.

Toward the end there was a ad requesting donations to “rachel.” What was that?

Friedrich Schiller had something to do with it, too.
