Beyonce's Ghost has inspired plans for a curvaceous, 226-meter-tall in Melbourne. Designed by Elenberg Fraser, the dubbed "Premier Tower" has received planning permission and will be built at 134 Spencer Street, adjacent to the Southern Cross station.
According to the architects, the mixed-use project's "complex form" was shaped by climatic restraints and after Beyonce's moving body seen in her recent music video Ghost. It is set to rise 68-stories on a stepped podium in the city's central business district. Once complete, it will house 660 apartments, a 160-room hotel, and retail space.
"This project is the culmination of our significant research," said Elenberg Fraser. "The complex form a vertical cantilever is actually the most effective way to redistribute the building's mass, giving the best results in terms of structural dispersion, frequency oscillation and wind requirements."

The next big tower will be modeled on “Call Me Bruce” Jenner’s new curves.
Angry, partially dressed, black woman, not inspiring.
I thought Beyoncé inspired Mother Nature to create the pear.
I guess from a different angle we could see the big bulge where the Service Entrance is located.
Computers have sure changed architecture. I like a lot of the new skyscrapers. This one, I’m not so sure about. But the article says the design makes the building stronger, so... there’s that.
Yeah. I won’t have any external plumbing.
COMMUNIST GOALS, 1963 CONGRESSIONAL RECORD
22. Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all forms of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to "eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings, substitute shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms."
23. Control art critics and directors of art museums. "Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art."
No big hips there, so that’s not Beyonce.
But this is what passes for architecture now, use a computer to add a few waves in the outside shape so the edges aren’t straight lines - that’s supposed to be revolutionary??
Ok, so it has a big garage.
