Since it was launched in 1990, the Hubble Space Telescope (HST) has sent us breathtaking images back from the deepest corners of space. Named after the trailblazing astronomer Edwin P. Hubble, the HST, a large, space-based observatory, has revolutionized astronomy by providing unprecedented deep and clear views of the Universe. Hubble has provided spectacular images, not just of our own solar system, but extremely remote fledgling galaxies forming not long after the Big Bang 13.8 billion years ago.

Not Webb Hubble? Who’d a thought? :>} I guess his claim to fame would be the $65,000 for ten minute speech scupper lipped ms. clintoon.

Remarkable. Thanks for posting. The Supernova and Pillars of Creation are particularly interesting and beautiful.

I don’t know much about astronomy, unfortunately, but the Hubble has always amazed me. The pictures are beyond imagination.

Indeed indeed. And you don’t need to know a whole lot to appreciate how beautiful it all is. Have already emailed the link to some friends.

Much appreciated.

It is amazing. And to me, evidence of a Creator.

I’ve been checking out the Hubble site for years, great pictures. My favorites are the deep space stuff. I’ve used them as wallpaper at times, but usually just download the largest ones available just to look at. Nothing like the gravitational lens in Abell 1669 (not sure of the number) showing dozens of galaxies...

Look at a huge picture like that of galaxies until they fade out of sight and tell me there is no life anywhere else...we occupy one teeny fraction of a sliver of a mini chunk of one of those galaxies, we have little idea what’s even on the other side of it...it boggles the mind...
