My sympathy for gays dying of self-inflicted disease disappeared when they applauded the latest Supreme Court ruling. Trample my God-given rights, in particular the right to the free exercise of religion (and restricting that exercise to mere debate is trampling that right), and I’ll shift my sympathy to those more deserving. I still won’t applaud as they infect each other and die, but there are limits on how many causes I can care about. Klan, communist, North Korean dictator, and gay mafia disease or deaths will not make my list.
