You are correct on two accounts, listed below the following paragraph.
First, this is a fine example of living off the land, just as many of our grandparents did (I am 81 so figure out how many years ago that would be). It is not a fine example of surviving after a grand scale emergency.
1. Exposure: Grade is F, using A-F, F being the lowest. It is open to all immediately around it and open to all living in town/area of Hepburn: “purchased a one hectare block of land on the edge of Hepburn, central Victoria”. They have massive exposure by holding tours for people to go through it and for this to be on the internet for all to see.
2. Grade unknown. Perhaps no defensive weapons - we don't know the mindset of these people but they are so open to the public, they may not have gone through the process to be able to have a rifle/shotgun. “Although it is true that Australia has restrictive firearms laws, rifles and shotguns (both of which include semi-automatics), as well as handguns, are all legal within a narrow set of criteria.” We don't know what the “narrow set of criteria” is to have a weapon.
All in all, I wouldn't want to live there in a serious emergency situation - the exposure is too great for that small family to deal with desperate starving people coming to them. The title of this article is, “How to Prepare for a Collapse in 9 Steps”. Those steps would work in a properly chosen location, but not this location. And, what they have done is give everyone there and in the world, a GPS location where they are.
I was thinking that it was very nice for them to prepare all that food for when they have uninvited guests.
They sound like globalists and would likely run screaming at the mere mention of having any sort of protection. They'll be greatly surprised when the zombie hordes blaze through their little Eden.
