My Grandson just won the Louis Armstrong Jazz Award as a senior in High School.

Love of his jazz band is as great as the Marching Band or school band...

He is off to college and Naval ROTC this month, Stradivarius (SP?) trumpet carefully packed too.

Heard during a headline news break tonight on TV that a school in Ft. Smith, AR is no longer allowing the song ‘Dixie’ to be played at school functions anymore.
