The thing about Trump is, he will just lead the people he fools out into a field and drop them there, other sweet-talking liars won’t be so nice.

Maybe, maybe not...Outside of Cruz (hopefully) who offers a better solution for America???

"If Trump won the primary would you vote for him as President???"

I can answer that (for me). I don't vote for liberals.

Trump self-identified as a Democrat. He wants to ban "assault rifles". He wants to raise taxes on upper income earners. He is a big supporter of universal health care. He has tried to get the government to use its powers of eminent domain to seize individuals' property for his personal aims. And though he has flip-flopped on abortion, he still donates to 100% pro-abortion politicians.

Well, going on track record I’d say Perry might be good. He’s pretty competitive about wooing in job creators and one thing I do pick up about the guy is that he’s great at working well with his peers. I seem to recall him being there when Bobby Jindal was banging his head against the wall at administrative foot dragging. I think he’d do us proud internationally on economic issues and on defense.

I really think Trump is in it to draw off some of the vote for the uniparty. I think there are far worse candidates out there, but I also think we can do better. The uniparty clearly has a plan for globalization, with greater or lesser benignness around the margins. The problem is that this sort of thing boils down to central control/planning/fairy dust, has been done before, and leads to very destructive conflicts. I’d just as soon keep our sovereignty, thank you.

We are basically competitive by nature and very bad things happen when we try to do an end run around that.

“Trump is the only candidate who is for bringing back American industry, to America.”

If you think a high tarriff will “bring back american industry,” then you are fooling yourself. A high tarriff will simply destroy more industry, making things worse.

If he were serious about “bringing back amican industry,” then he would propose eliminating Corp income tax and elimanating the EPA. However, he won’t because it doesn’t sound as good to the economic illiterates.

Because people these days want their politicians to be “Rock Stars.”

“Well this low information voter is trying to survive on 1965 wages...”

I understand your frustration, but we can’t abondan logic due to that frustration. If you want to get a pay cut to 1925’s wages, then go ahead and support high tarriffs. I provided 3 real examples as proof in my last post.

The rest of your post is verey reminiscent of Germany circa late 1920’s. Mix Nationalism with Socialism and you will end up with fascism. No, Trump is not Hitler, however he IS espousing Nationalism today (hate China, hate Mexico, trade protectionisme) and has historically espoused Socialism in the past (wealth tax.)

I am not going to let any candidate whip me into a frenzy.

“Admit it. You’re glad Donald Trump is running for president.”

Like at a boring party when some drunk starts wearing a lampshade, or in the movie `The Professional’ where the hit man hands an evil Gary Oldman a grenade pin.
Like tossing a rabid chimp into minivan full of DREAMERs.
Yeah, glad. Anything to rattle the GOPe’s cage.
