I “did” the Jersey shore in the 60’s and 70’s. Trust me, it wasn’t that special (other than the time we saw the Four Seasons at Steel Pier). It was more family friendly, though. Gambling took everything downhill in a hurry.

Oh nonsense. Gambling exists only in Atlantic City. There are great beaches and shore towns. If you didn’t get down to the Wildwoods and Victorian Cape May you haven’t seen the shore.
