Senile?? I guess God keeps him going for??? Has Satan taken over Robertson’s mind? If a truck runs over a duckling, was it God’s fear that it might have turned into a raptor when it grew up, or maybe because he saw it being gunned down in hunting season? I guess maybe he didn’t see the other thousands that were also victims? Robertson always seemed to be way out there with is opinions, I never took anything he said as being serious. He’s not alone, there are others just like him out there under the guise of giving us Gods message.

Factually correct, theologically demonic. There is no evidence in Scripture or church history that God desires the death of children in order to protect society from what would have been their adult activities—otherwise He would have killed Hitler and Stalin, not the three-year-old.
Unfortunately, Mr. Robertson jumped the shark long ago. I pray that God will deal with him in mercy, as I hope He does with all of us who are in His Son.

Pat Robertson is not quite mainstream. Westboro Baptist Church is not in any way mainstream. Neither interprets the Bible based on what it actually says or means. Between the two, they are what the media want the general public to think when they hear the word “Christian”, except of course when they remind us hundreds of times that “Obama really is a Christian, and no one understands why so many people don’t know that.”

That’s how I see it...
I understand the idea of always looking on the bright side of things, but you don’t try to pass off evil things as good, nor do evil things because we somehow think good will come from it.
And also by his “logic”, it is equally and entirely possible that kid could have grown up to be a person instrumental in creating breakthroughs in energy, illness, waste treatment, or any other major problems we have to deal with in our lives.
I thought they pretty much had put Pat out to pasture. Whoever brought him back needs to be fired and Pat is done in front of cameras.
