Im disabled, been hospitalized a few times, and collecting
SSDI. All my litigation paperwork/records are V.A.
medical information and data. I met the age and
“quarters” requirements, but was still denied, and had
to sue, to get what I paid for. The denial by the
government was mis-categorized, therefore I won.
I’m not a Ferguson porch sitter.
I started working at 16 years old, and was over 50,
when I began litigation.
ss Disability always denies first time applicants unless it’s mental or drugs.
A member of my Sunday School class was on the Heart Transplant list and could not work if he had to. The church kept his family afloat the best it could. It took 4 tries and a lawyer to get the Disability through.
After his heart transplant and the doctor cleared him to return to work at a desk job, he went back to work and off Disability.
Now if you were an ILLEGAL you’d get it in a heartbeat.
I’m one of those who get SSDI. I had to get cancer to do it, but by golly, I persevered. Got cancer twice more, just to stay on it!
#13 They always deny the first time. Then you are placed on the bottom of the pile and have to re-apply. Unless you have a lawyer who gets money. The laws are written to employ lawyers. If you fill out the forms yourself then you wait but pay some lawyer and you get moved ahead. My sister gets SSI of $802 a month that includes food allowance. Just enough to keep her dependent on the gov’t.
I am paying to get her lasik and cannot transfer the money into her account as she fears she will be denied the SSI as if she came into some money....
Meanwhile billions goes to insiders and are never prosecuted.
