FULL TITLE: Marine vet who was arrested for throwing coffee on Westboro protesters at Beau Biden funeral insists: 'I would do it again in a minute'
A Vietnam veteran who was arrested after throwing warm coffee on Westboro Baptist Church protesters picketing the funeral of Beau Biden has spoken out.
Richard Pierce, 64, of Wilmington, Delaware said while he would not suggest anyone do what he did calling his actions 'childish', he said he would 'do it again in a minute', according to the New York Daily News.
He was taken into custody after he hurled the drink at three women from the notoriously homophobic church on Saturday after they protested the funeral of Vice President Joe Biden's eldest son.
Pierce was charged with disorderly conduct, according to a police report.

I have encountered those Westboro people a few times up close and personal...they suck, and deserve every abuse they get.
That said, it is playing into their hands. It is what they want people to do.
He did just what they wanted him to do.

Well, there will have to be some type of massive drainage system or sewage filtration plant installed under/on/beside their graves. Because the amount of piss and turds will destroy the land otherwise.

I suspect that the behavior of the Westboro baptists is an act devised to try to make all Christians look bad, to make anyone seeing their shenanigans conclude that their antics are typical Christian behavior.
Westboro is insanity but they are entitled to their First Amendment rights like the Nazis that marched in a Jewish neighborhood in Skokie, IL back in the 1970’s.
The Supreme Court upheld Westboro’s First Amendment rights 7-1 in the lawsuit filed by a man in my community (York, PA) who was portrayed in the media (including Bill O’Reilly and Fox News) as ‘the father of a Marine’.
Al Snyder fit that description but after he lost at the Supreme Court, AL SNYDER REVEALED THAT HE WAS GAY.
If I were gay, I would be angry with Westboro and the LGBT activist agenda in this country is to silence any negative comments aimed at LGBT people.
There was more to the Westboro lawsuit than we knew at the time and I think that’s worth putting out there.

In the same way artists are entitled to their 1st Amendment Rights with both “Piss Christ” exhibits and “Draw Mohammed” contests.
