Buehler? Buehler?
How could he possibly be expected to handle school on a day like this?
I thought this was going to be a funny article until I read it and learned that there were two guns in the truck with the 12 year old.
This is in my neck of the woods and it is entirely possible that the kid did not even know the guns were in the truck when he skipped school and stole his father’s truck.
if ya gonna skip, skip large
But was he buckled in????
THAT’s the REAL question!!
After all... “Click it or Ticket!”
Inquiring minds wanna know...
Used to steal my uncle Plymouth in the afternoons before my folks got home ....I don't know why our neighbors didn't call Dad and tell on me.....but I learned to drive that old car at age 14.
Then when I was nearing 16 Dad wanted to teach me how to drive... I took off like Dale Earnhardt .....Dad beaming with pride told my Mom I was a 'natural'......(I never told them different)...
I remember a kid who drove many of the back roads in the Ozarks with firearms on a rack in front of the back window of the cab (long ago).
If the yellow pages still printed those gigantic phone books, the boy could have used those to prop himself higher.
My first thought is good news if he wasn’t texting, next thought is Junior is a very bored, and very bright kid who is not stimulated by school house rocks anymore.
Not sure of his age or the dates. But early in WWII, my “wild” teenage uncle “borrowed” my grandfather’s car for a joy ride and wrecked it. Rather than face my grandfather, my uncle walked into town, enlisted, and the family never saw him again until after the war.
Oh, SHUT UP!
One of the lab rats escaped from the cage! Everyone panic!
I'm sure a steady regimen of mind altering drugs is on this troublemakers menu until he submits to the regime. Maybe the same cocktail they forced upon Elian.
I keep reading that teens no longer look forward to getting their driver's license. That makes me despair for our youth. On the surface, I think this kid ROCKS!!!!
