....we find that local police departments still lack sufficient knowledge and cultural competency of LGBTQ couples and their families... They said they just wanted to be "like any other family".
But it turns out they expect special treatment based on their LGBTQRSTUVEIEIO status.

So police have to be culturally sensitive and let lesbian couples beat on each other? If it’s a hetero couple, the guy always gets arrested unless the woman is standing over an unconscious guy with a fry pan—and then they probably both get arrested.
