I'm not entirely sure about Michigan law, but federal law prohibits the use of government resources (i.e. email, phone, etc.) for campaign purposes. I'm pretty sure it would be illegal for Walker to have not had a separate (secret, really????) email for campaign business.

No, the existence of the email is not a violation of Wisconsin law (not Michigan - are you really that dense?).

This is an old news story. The investigation and complicit news coverage is part of a legally dubious 5-year fishing expedition to indict Scott Walker conducted by a liberal Democrat Milwaukee County DA who is under fire right now for his repeated abuse of Wisconsin's John Doe law.

Nice try, troll. Go find another bridge!

“I’m pretty sure it would be illegal for Walker to have not had a separate (secret, really????) email for campaign business.”

The issue isn’t that he had a separate email, but that either he used that private email for state business (violates open records laws) or used that private email to conduct campaign business during the time he was being paid to do state business (probably not an issue for the Governor so much, but for the Governor’s staff).
