The monster who raped me is coming before the board of parole again. Every 3 years. I ask that anyone who may have a reason to want him to stay behind bars, please consider writing the board (by email) expressing their thoughts about his release. He is a 5-time felon. The attack happened in Texas, the day before Thanksgiving, 1990. He broke several locks on my front door. When he was raping me, he made it clear to me that I would not be his last victim. He told me that if I helped prosecute him, he would kill me when he was released. He also assured me that he would never again leave a witness. He told me he would kill next time because he wouldn't allow himself to be put back in prison. I am blessed that I wasn't killed. I thank God every day for that blessing. He is a five-time felon. Each one of his crimes was progressively worse than the one before. His attack on me was brutal. During the attack, he took every opportunity to make me feel inferior. He justified his attack by claiming I deserved it because of the way I dressed. It's been almost 25 years since he attacked me, yet it feels like it was yesterday. I will always feel fear; I will always worry about my own children being attacked. I will always worry that he is around the corner waiting to kill me. I will always feel the need to watch over my shoulder. Please help me convince the board to not release him. Please help me convince them to make him serve his life sentence. Please help me keep them from releasing another sexual predator on the innocent. Before they caught him, he ran to Florida to escape. I believe no state is safe from this monster. Every 3 years I get to beg for them to understand why he shouldn't be released...he is a 5 time felon, the attack on me was his 5th felony conviction...how many did he do that he wasn't caught for? I am NEVER without my firearm...from the moment I put on my clothes in the morning until I lay down at night...and then it's beside me.
If you would be willing to write a letter to the parole board, please let me know and I will share the information you will need to do so. I don't want to post it as it would contain his TDCJ number and his inmate number as well as his name, and I don't want him to be able to search and find me because that information was posted publically. I have my conceal carry permit and carry all day, every day. I also have many hours of training to prepare myself for when/if I need to shoot, but haven’t been able to practice lately.

My wife hates it when I say some people need killing but she hasn’t seen what I’ve seen - people that are real monsters with absolutely no conscience or sense of guilt, some of whom who are highly intelligent that know exactly what people are looking for in the way of micro-facial tics, body language that can fool you if you’re not paying close attention, those who are born predators and then continuously honed and rehoned by evil parents and family members their entire life. There’s just no fixing them. They are where horror movies originated from.
Based on decades of LEO, investigator, and probably seeing way too much. I’m definitely not jaded.
Maybe take up a collection for ammunition?
Have you considered reaching out to an attorney to help draft your own letter to the parole board (or even just look over your letter)? A victims-rights lawyer may have a good idea of what to say (and how) to make sure the parole board keeps this scumbag where he belongs.
Unfortunately, I don’t know any lawyers who practice in this area in Texas, but if you’re interested, you may want to reach out to the Victims Rights Law Center (http://www.victimrights.org/) - they’re in Massachusetts, but probably know of attorneys/resources elsewhere.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t armed at that time. Didn’t get my first CCW until he was up for his first parole hearing in 2005.

This will be the 4th hearing I have participated in. I write a letter and I talk to one of the board members by phone...I can’t afford to GO to the hearing, but they call me and get my statement and then pass it around to the other board members. They don’t even hold hearings like you see in movies...one member talks to me and to the monster, takes notes, includes those notes in the file, casts his/her vote and mails the file to the next voting member. That one reads everything in the file, letters, notes, everything...casts their vote and mails the file to the next. ...and so on until they have the votes to either deny or grant parole. 2 “no”s and he is automatically held, 3 “yes” and he is granted parole. (to go back out and do something worse to the next victim).
I don’t actually live in Texas anymore and I don’t know if any local attorneys would help with a letter for Texas parole hearings.
I have done 3 other letters, this will be my fourth hearing. I have all the other letters still and will also talk to one of the board members by phone.
Remind people that three points make a straight line in any plane. He has ‘made’ 5. Thus, he has demonstrated not on three but rather on five occasions the logical and spiritual nature of his character. The predictor of his future action is only delayed in his present situation.
I make notes of everything I want to say when I am talking to the parole board member. Your comment is added to that list of comments! Thank you so much for such a logical thought. The anxiety of the times will sometimes take away my ability to think logically.
