On the whole we believe as our columnist Taylor Brown recently noted that Trump is going to be good for the debate.
If he runs, Trump would join a field that currently includes retired neurosurgeon Ben Carson, U.S. Senator Ted Cruz of Texas, former Hewlett Packard CEO Carly Fiorina, former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee, former New York governor George Pataki, U.S. Senator Rand Paul of Kentucky U.S. Senator Marco Rubio of Florida and former U.S. Senator Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania.
Former Texas governor Rick Perry will join the field this week.
Expected to announce their candidates soon are Bush, Wisconsin governor Scott Walker, New Jersey governor Chris Christie, Ohio governor John Kasich, Louisiana governor Bobby Jindal and U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham of South Carolina.

(NB - I am not a birther, just like to mock Trump's line of B.S.)

On the Republican side one actually has a choice of candidates for whom to vote. Not so on the Democrat side where there is a soviet-style choice of one; a mean old woman. The type of mean old woman one could imagine screaming at kids who cross into her yard to retrieve an errant baseball.

The more people running, the better Cruz looks...if Bobby Jindal runs...he’d be in my top 3. John Kasich is ok...

No, on the Democrat side you have a Socialist man running, a Communist lady running and an Idiot running.

Trump is entertaining as he stirs things up. No one should take his candidacy seriously.
