Trump was in Sarasota on Thursday to accept the annual "Statesman of the Year Award" from the Sarasota Republican Party. Check out more of what he had to say here.

Trump had an appearance in Florida.

So did Rubio, and Jeb.

I think it is good to highlight where they have differences (such as this) but just to state he was not being critical of both candidates in general, just on their answers on Iraq.

To which he answered: "One's younger, one's older". "one's the mentor, ..." and said that didn't work out so well.

And he said the country very much has "Bush fatigue".

This is not a real video from a set, just a quick part of an interview after the fact.

I don't know much about Trump, but in general I feel that too many in the upper echelons of American business have been short-term thinkers without vision for how best to keep the US at the top of the world in innovation and industry.

Maybe I'm just naive, but I feel that the captains of industry should be thinking about sustainability, growth, and leading the world in innovation - not just about what the next two quarters will look like to the stockholders. If the American auto industry had been thinking this way, maybe they wouldn't have had to be bailed out by the taxpayers. I know that labor unions have contributed to the mess in some industries, but I think it goes well beyond that.

I believe Cruz’s vote for the McC-Obama trade deal will stall the development of his campaign for months. He may never “catch on”.

I am a dedicated Cruz cheerleader and his vote on the trade bill last week really put me off. I am taking a step back. I sincerely hope Trump decides to get in the race. I have no problem with him. We desparately need a mature adult in the Whitehouse. I’m thinking most of these guys are just too young.

What you are saying is true in manufacturing industries like auto’s, appliances, etc.

On the other hand everything Trump invests money in is VERY LONG TERM. For example he builds world class golf resorts. He acquires a property which is under stress, at bargain prices, then spends huge amounts of money to transform the resort many levels higher. The payoff is never immediate. It is after many years. Ditto when Trump builds a commercial building. It takes many years from start to finish. And more years to make a profit.
