My step-daughter knows a guy here in town who
used to work for the local Popeye's. He got sacked after refusing the manager's orders to soak rancid-smelling chicken parts in water and bleach so they could cook them and keep costs down.
I will NEVER eat at Popeye's again.

Partly why I only eat at food joints in dire emergency. I trust none of them. Too many of these stories from too many people.
