Have not heard that Bostian is claiming that the engines sped up on their own such as software being compromised. That may not even be possible.
I uppose that there is a hand throttle with a dead-man switch in case the engine operator is incapacitated.
He used them as an example of bad sin.
However they were not the WORST sin.
The WORST sin was to refuse God’s spirit of loving redemption.

That is a curious claim on his part, but it surely will be duly investigated. If he really believed it, he might be reticent to ask that trains go under even more software control, at least not until the bugs are thoroughly worked out.
But again it could be phony and maybe in an angry liberal tiff he just leaned on the throttle. If throttle position is recorded by the event recorder, it would expose his game. Those rednecks who built the trains might be smarter than he is after all. (There are engineers and then there are ENGINEERS)

Why of course, but that doesn’t make the actual Christ to be Satan (though he is a stumbling block to many who refuse to believe on Him).
The hallmark of Christ is redeeming love. Excusing no sin. Forgiving all sins.
Fallen men keep on wanting to believe they can merit their way to heaven through religiosity, often proving their bona fides through whom they blame. Their “God” has “damn” as His middle name. They are thoroughly wrong.
At the least I hope you would heed Proverbs which warns against rushing to judgment.

So many people have made “the gays” into a shibboleth of the worst evil possible. That is suspect on THEIR motives.
They are dramatic sinners, but they are not the WORST sinners. Those who go off on jags about them are often like the Pharisees, whom Jesus thoroughly rebuked. Get your heart right, then you can talk about the heart of your neighbor.
