It means Cruz is gunning for all 50 states and not writing any of them off.
I don't like ht term “middle class”. The dems use those words to divide. I'd rather hear average American.
I think there could be hope for the untrue. Wasn't there are a large socialist movement in the early part of 20th century. And then with Reagan we went hard right :)

I don’t know, that’s why I’m asking. I know that on his way out the door he changed the way California nominates its Republican candidates, as a response to Proposition 14. No more competing for the nomination, the GOP picks, and that’s who runs. I would not like to see that on a national level.

Statistically, more businesses are leaving than moving in. Silicon Valley is almost a separate state/country; employees are bussed from their homes to work and back, they shop at Whole Foods. Their feet never touch the ground.
I go to the meets put on by my assembly members, first Tim Donnally, now Jim Obernolte. The tales they tell are depressing, yet they both keep plugging away. God love 'em.

Be very careful with that strategy.
Methinks the Left has figured out that >90% of voters have already made up their minds, >5% remaining will have negligible variance, leaving <4% who actually may respond favorably to campaigning AND make a difference if they do. As such, target that half-billion dollars of campaign funds on just 5M voters in areas that can be swayed. Little point in advertising in, say, Forsyth County GA where the Republican candidate _will_ win regardless.
Going all-out for all 50 states means averaging around $10M per state, which really isn’t much. Targeting $100 of advertising at each of 5M swayable voters will likely produce better results than $5 at each of 100M voters most of which have already made up their minds.
If going for all 50 states can initiate an avalanche of favorable votes, great. The candidate must be great to make that happen; tepid can’t win without advertising with surgical precision.
Those companies probably have great worker benefits, but do they pay lots of taxes to CA?
I have worked for investment banks in NYC and they treated us great. Wonder what they paid to the city though.

My husband was our Republican County Chairman (in Texas). We put on the Republican primary election adhering to our state laws. Every voter in the Primary Election voted for their choice for president. The candidate for president is the person who won the most votes in Texas. The Republican State Chairman has no say in who is elected for candidate for president.
I don't believe California has a state law the Republican State Chairman can select the candidate for president he/she wants. If that were true, there is no reason to have a primary election for candidate for president.
Even if California had such a law (I don't believe that), it would have no bearing on other states election laws regarding holding a primary election choosing the presidential candidate.
Team Ted is bragging that they have just this ability. We shall see.

No, but the party selects who they will get behind and support, which is why the field was cleared for Sharron Runner to become the State Senator, even though other people were interested. I like Sharron, she’s good people. But I also like the idea of open competition.
