Well, I did a bit of Internet research, and I may have just pinpointed it.
You see, we've all heard those over-market saturated "put another shrimp on the barbie" Australian accent commercials.
And, taking a peek at this Website -- Arabian, BBQ, and Grilling Recipes -- it appears to me that a "fave" "barbie" Arabian recipe doesn't involve shrimp at all.
No.
It's kebabs of various types.
So the fact that we don't hear Australian accent commercials saying "Put another kebab on the barbie" is quite incendiary and provocative.
No wonder these Aussies were targeted!
