Tom Brady will be suspended by Goodell for role in DeflateGate, announcement next week
NEW YORK DAILY NEWS ^ | 5-8-2015 | Gary Myers

Tom Brady will be the highest profile player ever suspended in the 96-year history of the NFL.

Roger Goodell's decision is expected to be announced next week and it is no longer a matter of if the NFL commissioner will suspend Brady, but for how long he will suspend him.

In conversations I've had with several key sources who always have a good sense of what goes on at 345 Park Avenue, there is little doubt Goodell considers Brady's role in DeflateGate a serious violation.

The NFL is convinced, according to sources, that connecting all the dots of the evidence supplied by Wells leads to one conclusion:

Brady cheated.

Then isn’t “The Deflator” the person who actually broke rules?

Have you read the texts and the rest of the report? I’m a Pats fan, so I’ve been listening to Boston sports radio all week on the subject.

The ref did nothing wrong.

Brady cheated.

The balls were weighted before the game, all were over 12.5 lbs.

That means an equipment guy almost certainly substituted balls after the game check.

Brady cheated.

The refs believed the balls were light. Rather than stop the game, rather than stop the game, the NFL waited and weighed them at half-time. 11 of 12 balls were two or more lbs. below the limit.

Brady cheated.

The refs did nothing wrong.

Nobody believes that “The Deflator” did such without instruction from Brady—and that’s what the evidence seems to suggest. They even have texts with the guy looking for his payoff in Brady-signed paraphernalia.

Nope. There is an upper and a lower limit. 11 of 12 balls used as game balls were two or more lbs. below the lower limit of 12.5.

He is a great player on a great team (I’m a Seahawk fan) So why did he feel the need to cheat?

Yes, I have seen them. That is circumstantial evidence, and again, the person actually deflating balls, according to those texts, was not Brady.

And those texts do not indicate that balls were being deflated below a legal range. There is a one pound range.

The text message among the two employees and Brady are a little damning, imho

You can believe whatever you wish. But the fact remains Goodell has this power and Brady and Bellicek know it. Your beliefs are irrelevant.

So who was the NE quarterback named Tom the two staffers kept referring to in their texts/evidence? Only reason we don’t have the mysterious texts from Tom is mhenwithheld them. Which is itself punishable by the league. Get educated

Brady refused to go to the White House last month and bow to Hussein. That is why he is. Sing punished aithout concrete evidence.

They do know. The Pats equipment people deflated the balls after they were properly weighed. 11 out of 12 balls were two ore pounds under weight. That means it was: significant and deliberate. It’s cheating, they knew it was cheating, and there was only one player who benefited from it. If you have an IQ over 50 you can connect the dots.

On the one hand, people get mad if they do nothing, on the other hand, showing there is a price to pay for cheating gets bad posts.

I think Brady is a game conniver but so what? When he squeezed the ball he probably brought the pressure back up to standard. I don’t know if the rules cover such pressurizing.

The Patriots are in consistent violation of the NFL ‘Parity Policy’ in that they now decline to suck every few years as do most other teams.

This is an offense which must be punished invoking any nonsense whatsoever.

"That means an equipment guy almost certainly substituted balls after the game check."

Brady An equipment guy cheated.

Come on, man. You can't just go from telling me who almost certainly cheated and how, and then tell me Brady cheated.
