Tom Brady will be the highest profile player ever suspended in the 96-year history of the NFL.
Roger Goodell's decision is expected to be announced next week and it is no longer a matter of if the NFL commissioner will suspend Brady, but for how long he will suspend him.
In conversations I've had with several key sources who always have a good sense of what goes on at 345 Park Avenue, there is little doubt Goodell considers Brady's role in DeflateGate a serious violation.
The NFL is convinced, according to sources, that connecting all the dots of the evidence supplied by Wells leads to one conclusion:
Brady cheated.

Well here are his reasons for not turning them over. But seeing as how not turning them over is grounds for discipline in and of itself, that is a decision he chose to make, so indeed he will face that consequence. Don’t make the boss angry. I wouldn’t have turned over my phone either.

And, of course, there is the little problem of Brady refusing to turn over this text and email messages and body language experts universally saying he has been lying when speaking about the issue to the media.
The report says he is guilty. The league believes the report. And he will be suspended, whether you like it or not.

I agree. No hard evidence.. what the heck is going on in this world today? They are destroying the reputations of people with no evidence and no trial.... crazy!
Taking an interest in a story like this has nothing to do with religion or worship. I personally do not watch sports, but this story captured my attention. I have been waiting to see how they would destroy this person... would they have solid evidence against him and give him a chance to defend himself (you know, the American way...rights and all that inconvenient stuff) or would they use him as a scapegoat for their own incompetent processes in the NFL??? I guess it is quite clear.

That's like saying a judge who puts away a child rapist is destroying the public sector....Brady was involved in cheating and it was part of the biggest deal they have in the game.

First he didn’t cheat, but if he did the same punishment as Aaron Rogers who overinflated his balls to 16 psi 2.5 psi over the limit as he said in a radio interview this fall before frame gate.
Why no outrage over Rogers cheating?
How bout Aaron Rogers claiming on radio last October that he has his footballs intentionally inflated to 16 psi, 2.5 over the limit the NFL allows and submits them that way and that refs let them through?
What should his suspension be for publicly stating that he cheats?

That’s probably true that it is the worst graphic. But after reading your posts, I would say it was quite on target.
The Referee shall be the sole judge as to whether all balls offered for play comply with these specifications. A pump is to be furnished by the home club, and the balls shall remain under the supervision of the Referee until they are delivered to the ball attendant just prior to the start of the game.
