Carrie Chisholm had had a really bad day. The final thing to go wrong? She found herself without her purse when she drove up to pay for her now five-year-old son Hughes dinner at Chick-fil-a.
Instead of turning her away, though, the cashier spoke to her manager, who told Chisholm the meal was on the house.

Unknowingly?
It is so often the small things we do for one another...
I completely agree, but if I may amplify just a bit: it is USUALLY the small things we do for one another.
The folks at CFA really seem to be this kind. They are by far the warmest and most sincere-sounding people at a restaurant that I have experienced. It doesn’t surprise me that they did this and it makes me want a CHIKIN SAMICH right now.
Poor headline for a good story. Chic-fil-a is an outstanding restaurant franchise. When traveling, we go out of our way to patronize their franchises. Food is always excellent, as is the staff.
If the CEO of Mickie D’s were smart, he’d copy the service training and food quality of CFA.
Intolerant Christian bigots!
Chik Fil A seems to have a good customer service model. I went to one in Nottingham, MD for lunch today and the drive thru line was very long. An employee brought out a tray of smoothee samplles for those in line. Very nice touch.
It IS a poor headline. The asswipe that wrote it must’ve been blind with rage and confusion. When he was told to write the article, he probably took a few days looking for holes in the story. Couldn’t find any.
When the current unpleasantness came up, my tastes changed a lot and even though it makes me want to cry... I can't eat their sandwiches anymore.
Doesn't keep me from getting sandwiches for others though. ;)

The chicken club salad is amazing.
What current unpleasantness? Haven’t heard anything.
When the Chik-Fil-A opened in our area, son #2 stopped there for lunch. Turned out that he had forgotten his wallet. The cashier said not to worry, it was on the house.
“When he was told to write the article,”
The headline is usually written by another person after the story is written.
” When he was told to write the article, he probably took a few days looking for holes in the story. Couldnt find any.”
I thought the article was well written and dramatic with the video.
Yahoo does a good job on this one. Give it a break.
We just got a Chick-fil-A in Bellevue. Two more are opening in the next couple of weeks. Very happy!
Yeah.. pretty much like that.
