Since you live outside of the British realm your opinion is pointless . Do you complain about other existing monarchies?
Granted, ceremonial and symbolic monarchies may still sometimes be helpful as providing a stabilizing influence and alternative source of legitimacy in a crisis. There are also singular oddball cases like Monaco, a picturesque principality that disguises a business case as a combination tourist trap and tax and crime haven that France tolerates as a service to its own interests.
Monarchy though is a dangerous temptation to thuggish autocrats like Putin in Russia and dozens of other in the world's trouble zones and emerging nations. The regimes they establish tend to be brutal and wasteful, rarely last, and usually die bloody. In a world teeming with terrorists and awash in advanced weaponry and WMDs, monarchy is mostly a bad example.
